"Orange Theory Fitness has become an important part of my fitness journey for many reasons. I read recently in the book Fast after 50 that HIIT (high intensity interval training) workouts have been proven to reduce the decline in performance as we age. Other reasons that I have included OTF into my regimen is that as older triathletes we do need to add strength training into our workouts. So, with OTF I get both HIIT and strength training in a one-hour session. Because I travel, the convenience of having a studio and sometimes multiple provides me the ability to keep my fitness while traveling.
